Ratos-Guardian

:3 I've been wanting to draw Rahtos for a while now. Just never got around to it.

I sketched him out originally on the back of a paper in class the other day, this time I sketched him out nice and big. :3


Rahtos lives in a pocket-dimension in Taso's world. There he protects the seal on the Outer Gate. From there you get to a chamber where the Inner Gate is located, sealed with pure life energy.

Beyond that, you don't wanna go. That's where bad things live. :3 It's where they seal evil beings. When a person gives themselves over to evil, their Soul slowly warps and twists, and they end up ceasing to be human, becoming a being of pure evil.

They're all rather sadistic and want to end all non-evil life. They fight amongst each other, too. Though they have allowed humans to borrow their power, in return for various things. (Like souls. XD)

Rhatos is the curredt guardian. It's a lonely, dull job (really, very few people try to break the evil out. XD). Guardians change every 1000 years (give or take a decade or so).

Lady Tarosk is set to be come the next Guardian.

When one becomes a Guardian, they lose their human form and take a Guardian Form. This is Rhatos' Guardian Form.


I don't have colors picked yet, so you just get the original pencil sketch.

First time drawing something with a mane. :3 I think he looks fluffy.

But don't tell him that. XD It hurts his pride, even if it's true. Tarosk is the only one that can get away with it, because they're friends. XD

His proper title is G'an'Rahtos. Mostly, though, people just call him Lord/Master Rahtos. Sometimes Guardian Rahtos.

Then he promptly knocks them on their ass and tells them to drop the damned title because he's fucking sick of the damned formality, and he just wants people to use his fucking name without a damned title. Sometimes more colorfully put, depends on his mood. XD

His size is variable--he can change it depending on his mood/needs. If he wants to look imposing, he'll tower over you. Otherwise, he's a bit bigger than a human, and sometimes smaller if he feels like it.

Oh, and just ignore that little design near the bottom. :3 That's still really being tweaked.
